Tailored Therapy for Healing & Empowerment

I work to help heal and promote freedom, freedom from fear in its numerous visible and hidden forms.

I am exclusively virtual via telehealth for all of my sessions.

As far as style or discipline, I have studied many major and minor modes of work extensively, including cognitive, self, trauma, existential, narrative, mindfulness, positive, gestalt, imago, meditation, spiritual, addiction, 12-step, bioenergetic, and others, in order to find what is useful in each and be able to mix and choose, to match the client that I am joining in their selfwork.

Everyone is different in the ways universal issues arise and are responded to, whether depression, loss, anxiety, relationship. One approach does not fit all. “Fit” is critical in the match of therapist and client, in order to have the most productive outcome of the work. I welcome inquiry and preliminary talks before we start, or if we do not go forward, I may be able to help to aim in a different direction to find a match.

Here’s a little list of culprits that might be holding you back—let’s tackle them together!

    Fear - Underlies so many thoughts, beliefs, and actions.
    Depression - Has a big connection to fear but does not show it.
    Self Criticism - Seems like it is rational and necessary but spoils everything.
    Shame - A product of fear and self-criticism + fear of what other people think.
    Isolation - Way of dealing and avoiding some feelings- understandable, but can be limiting and depressing.
    Anxiety - Fear-based, often repetitious and can find any subject to dwell on.

Individual Therapy

Therapy is derived from the Latin ‘curing’ or ‘healing’ and I see it as such, but I do not work on curing in a medical sense at all, but in the sense of re-finding the spirit of the person, moving toward the intrinsic self which was already always being.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma.

Coaching

Coaching focuses on actionable steps and life direction through a collaborative process. It helps identify obstacles, solve problems, and achieve personal or professional goals with measurable progress and breakthroughs.
